Delly has seen it before. This slow denial. This slow fear crawling into the space left by not knowing. Delly has seen it before. So, Delly does what she has always done:
- She pulls weeds from the garden
- She leaves long voicemails for all the kids
- She bakes
- She reads the paper
- She writes letters to old friends
- She sits at the piano and she plays.
2020 will end eventually.
